Comprehensive International Trade Consulting Services

How we operate

An initial approach to us usually results in a meeting to discuss your requirements and to plan a list of objectives. At this stage, we are briefed on the client's products and main markets. We discuss what the client wants to achieve from an export business development programme and we learn about any previous export business experiences.

Following the initial meeting, we prepare and submit a quotation to the client, highlighting the scope of work, timescales, objectives and costs. The latter could be a daily rate, monthly retainer or a nominal retainer plus commission on sales.

On acceptance of our quotation, a start date for the assignment is agreed. We submit either a detailed report at the end of the assignment, or regular progress reports (depending on the length and scope of the contract).

Our main fields of activity

c Internationalization diagnosis: we study the company’s current situation and help their management to identify the possibilities of adapting their internal organization and their products to markets abroad. Once the export has started, we offer a non-stop tracking service of the results and upgrading of the international marketing plan.

c International Marketing: Drawing up of an international marketing plan, or of parts of it, such as: study of specific markets, marketing mix strategies, approach to action in international markets, etc.

c International Marketing Plan: We develop marketing plans in order to define the best strategies our clients can follow in relation to their products, distribution channels and communications.
This service has several stages: internal company analysis; market sector analysis; evaluation of the competition; evaluation of commercial barriers; market segmentation; identification of the key issues for implementing the defined strategy and development of tools to supervise the performance, among others.

c Market research: With a good knowledge of the market, you can avoid strategic mistakes, as well as make the most of opportunities before your competitors do. That is why, thanks to our network of collaborators abroad, we offer our clients comprehensive market research or just specific information about relevant matters in the target market.

c International trade funding programs: information about national and regional public support programmes, as well as ones from financial corporations, so that the best option can be chosen.

c Public Tenders: advice on taking part in tenders in Spain.

c Terms of payment
: advice on the most commonly used terms, such as transfers, letters of credit, loans and guarantees, international factoring, etc.

c Investment in Spain: we prepare and support investment projects in Spain. We look for the best funding and tax concessions in order to cut down on starting costs.

c Production relocation and subcontracting abroad: we help you to find the right partners to succeed in the relocation of your production. Our team of technical consultants will advise you not only on establishing a new production unit, but also on how best to manage it, whether you own it yourself or in a joint venture with local partners, with or without license agreements. In addition, we give advice on quality control procedures.

c International transport and logistics: advice on the selection of the best transport option for exporting or importing products. We assess the feasibility of the use of logistics hubs abroad.
